Give Michael Some Credit

The Maryland GOP is keeping this one alive, as they should.

Read the following:

ANNAPOLIS—Following the guilty plea by former Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) staffer Lauren Weiner and mounting evidence that the theft of Lt. Governor Michael Steele’s identity was done at the behest of top DSCC personnel, Maryland Republican Party Chairman John Kane released the following statement concerning the silence of Lt. Gov. Michael Steele’s opponents and the Maryland Democratic Party on the theft of Steele’s credit report by the DSCC:

“While Senator Barbara Mikulski was quick to call the theft of Lt. Gov. Steele’s credit report by the DSCC ‘deceitful, despicable and wrong,’ the Lieutenant Governor’s entire primary field of opponents and the Maryland Democratic Party has maintained a deafening silence on this matter.

“Today, I am calling on Maryland’s Democratic U.S. Senate candidates and the Maryland Democratic Party to join their junior senator - Senator Mikulski - in stating for the record how deeply troubling this situation is, and to denounce the disturbing, illegal actions committed against Michael Steele and his family.”
